TERRE VIEW SANITARY SEWER TRUNK LINE
EXTENSION PROJECT for the City of Pullman:
This project consisted of construction 6,160 feet of sewer pipes 8 to 18 inches
in diameter. The pipe material for this project included no-joint polyethylene pipe
along an unstable embankment. This project also included easements across railroad
property to permit boring under the tracks, placing steel casing, and inserting the
sanitary sewer pipe through the casing for a total cost of $166,000. This sewer trunk line
serves the Port's Industrial Park & WSU's Research Parks. |

EMERGENCY SANITARY SEWER REHAB PROJECT
for the City of Pomeroy:
This $50,000 project was funded through the Department of Ecology's
Centennial Clean Water Fund Program to correct a completely deteriorated sewer pipe. |
PORT OF WHITMAN COUNTY'S WILMA PORT
WASTEWATER TREATMENT PLANT IMPROVEMENTS:
This project included the preparation of preliminary engineering report, the
addition of two floating aerators, and the construction of a pressurized drain piping
system. |

SUNSET MOBILE HOME PARK WASTEWATER LAGOON
IMPROVEMENT along Albion Road:
This project included the restoration of the pond dikes, constructing a lift
station and a pressurized disposal drain system. |
PULLMAN'S HATLEY CANYON SEWER TRUNK LINE
& LIFT STATION:
This project extended the sanitary sewer pipe from the Wastewater Treatment
Plant to Colfax Highway. |

for the towns of Albion, Oaksdale and the City of Pomeroy:
The Report outlined an inventory of existing conditions and recommendations
for future detailed studies and improvements. |
CITY OF PULLMAN SEWER SYSTEM MASTER PLAN
UPDATE:
This Report outlined existing conditions, recommended improvements for the
existing system, and a list of sewer collection systems for future growth in all
directions. |

PALOUSE PRODUCERS FARM CHEMICALS
WASTEWATER PONDS:
This project included the design of ponds to accept wastewater from washing
farm chemical tanks, placed sprinklers to increasing evaporation, and some ponds required
pond liners. |
POMEROY'S SEWER TRUNK LINE REPLACEMENT TO
THE WASTEWATER TREATMENT PLANT:
This project included the construction of 1,625 feet of 8 to 12-inch diameter
pipes. This project also installed backflow check valves on some of the low level houses
which were experiencing sewer back-up during floods. This project was part of a large
improvement project which was funded through $191,000 Community Development Block Grant
Program. |

BELLEVUE HOUSING COMPLEX
UTILITIES EXTENSION in Pullman:
This project included the extension of utilities and pave driveways to the housing
complex. The project included an inverted sewer siphon across the South Fork of Palouse
River. This project was funded by the Community Development Block Grant Program. |

DISPOSAL SYSTEM:
The preliminary Report and site study at the Wastewater Treatment Plant for
sludge drying beds. |

COLFAX BROWN'S ADDITION IMPROVEMENT PROJECT:
This project included the reconstruction of the roads, sidewalks, water,
drainage and sewer system improvements. Manholes were added to permit maintenance of the
12-inch trunk line with check valves to protect some of the houses from sewer back-up
during floods. This project also included the construction of a metering manhole to
accurately measure the flow into the Wastewater Treatment Plant. |
